Jim Thompson

As President of the company, Jim oversees the day to day operations of Future Homes. Growing up in a family of builders has provided him with a wealth of construction knowledge and experience to draw from. He has been fully involved with Future Homes since graduating from North Carolina State University in 1992.

 

Jim’s focus has been to support and further develop the company while maintaining the high quality of service on which the company’s reputation is built. He does this by staying personally involved with product design, new home features, quality control, and customer service. Add it up and you will find all the necessary ingredients to provide you with a superior crafted home for today and tomorrow.

 

Odell and Gay Thompson

Jim’s father, Odell, and his mother, Gay, are well-known in the building community as one of the area’s most reliable and trusted homebuilding teams. Before Future Homes, Odell and Gay worked with Odell’s father, TJ “Doc” Thompson, as members of Greenbrier Realty and Construction Company.

 

When “Doc” retired, Odell and Gay continued the building tradition by forming Future Homes in 1983. Odell serves as President of Future Homes and both are still involved in the day to day business operations that have helped to make Future Homes successful.
